Born in 1978 in Uruguay but nowadays lives in Oslo, Norway, from where he's developing his project "antipodes café".
Felipe is a permanent collaborator in graphic design with Gondolin Kluba and C4 Sup Center. This year, he also made the visual communication for Garbibai, and the general idea of this workshop and exhibition.
His doing implies a wide range of topics and was developed in several countries and contexts. He has participated in urban interventions, diverse self managed projects and also in bombastic exhibitions as the Gwangju Design Biennale (South Korea 2011), the Iberoamerican design Biennale (Spain 2010), The Venice Biennale of Architecture (Italy 2008) and the MERCOSUR Biennale of art (Brazil 2005) among many other local shows in Uruguay.
He has also colaborated with artist, architects, designers and musicians, –like Hiroshi Hara, Antoni Muntadas, Dani Umpi, Juan Stewart, Basurama, among others– and shared and organized workshops and lectures, –highlighting the first visit to Uruguay of the renowed designer David Carson in 2009, and the symposium "Dialogue Oscar Mariné-Felipe Ridao" helded in Madrid in 2010.
