Film programmer and critic. Since 2000, Alejandro has published articles and interviews in magazines including Miradas de Cine, Tren de Sombras, Lumière (where he was a member of the editorial board), Contrapicado, Transit or the Italian ones Cinemascope and La Furia Umana. He has co-authored different books (Cien Miradas de Cine; Cine XXI. Directores y direcciones; John Carpenter: Ultimátum a la Tierra), has contributed to the Gijón, Sitges and Buenos Aires festivals, and he regularly writes for Caimán - Cuadernos de Cine (formerly Cahiers du cinéma - España) y Rockdelux. He was a member of the programmer team for the Gijón International Film Festival in 2010 and 2011, has worked with the CCCB, and since 2012, he has run the programming department at the Seville European Film Festival.
