The Mapa Collective appeared in 2008 from Arteleku's Moving Image Laboratory , which was coordinated by Isabel Herguera. Since then, three one-day events have been organised on the theme of strange cinema at Arteleku (2010, 2011 and 2013). They have taken part in the First Peripheral Cinema Exhibition (S8) in A Coruña (2010) and in the selection of shorts at the International Festival of Aguilar de Campoo; they have also collaborated with the International Film Festival of San Sebastian, among other projects. The Mapa Collective is made up of Izibene Oñederra, Tamara García and Víctor Iriarte.
