This workshop proposes an approach and thorough analysis on the stereophonic image. Through several sessions that will mix theory, practice and critical listening, the objective of the workshop lies in knowing the techniques developed by Mike Williams on microphone placement and adjustment to model sound images that offer an illusion of great realism. In line with the "enviromentalists" soundscape like the Canadian R. Murray Schaeffer, we will experiment with Mike Williams how to appropriate the standard recording systems to capture and spatialize sounds we've chosen to record in our sound environment.

This workshop is aimed at users who have experience in the field of sound recording, such as sound engineers, field recordists, sound artists ...
