We are interested in feminist art productions as a knowledge process. We will look at knowledge processes by analysing the works of various artists and the analysis will be performed by the artists themselves.
The denomination of feminist art and its implementation respond to a specific context and time and not every artist working from a feminist standpoint identifies with the term. Today, feminist art production uses different tools: demands that are queer, feminist and trans, queer and feminist critical theories and visual realisations proposed from said areas. We will analyse the knowledge of how these tools integrate and are reflected in the working processes of various artists in order to identify the feminist tools required to create new, illegitimate knowledge processes that help transform the structures of the reality in which we live.
Another main objective of these days is to learn more about the relations between different generations and in the same generation of artists through the production of feminist art.
