He worked as assistant to the director Isaki Lacuesta on his feature film Cravan versus Cravan (2002) and director of photography on the feature film Buenas Noches (Goodnight) (2011) by the Filipino director Raya Martín. Teacher of Cinematographic Language at the University of Montevideo for four years and programmer at the Fine Arts Film Archive of Bilbao and Arteleku, he premiered his first feature film, Invisible, at the film festival of Marseille in 2012.
