Trapusonora is an open workshop focusing on recycling and material transformation. The aim is to turn scrap, electronic toys and second-hand clothes into musical instruments by adding simple electronic elements to basic fabric and cloth objects (hats, scarves, belts and wristbands, etc.).

The workshop, which is coordinated by DonostiKnit taldeak (Donostia – San Sebastián) and TrucaRec (Bilbao), aims to relate two techniques that at first glance may seem completely unrelated. The participants create their musical garments by going through every stage of the process: sewing, recycling electronic components and finally, creating basic musical instruments and inserting them into pieces of clothing, etc.

The workshop is aimed at anyone interested in the recycling of fabric and electronic objects. No technical knowledge required.
